PODS

This series of work explores the surreal. These seed-like pods were made by filling a doughnut balloon with plaster and distorting its shape while setting. It was then cast in aluminium resin. These surreal forms were placed in Horsell Common sandpits where the spaceships landed, in HG Well's book War of the Worlds.
